Greed Is The Issue

I don’t know about the rest of y’all, but I voted a straight Democratic ticket because I want the thugs in office, and the thugs hiding behind the thugs in office to be held to account for sedition, subversion, and treason.

I want to see these people held to account for everything done in defiance of The Constitution of The United States of America. I want to see these people imprisoned for war-profiteering and for any other laws broken, bribes taken, rules ignored, malfeasance engendered in the feckless pursuit of financial gain at the expense of the poor of this country.

I love and respect Ms. Nancy Pelosi, but I cringe when she states that she will not seek impeachment of George W. Bush and that Cheney person, although I do realize she is third in line of succession to the office of President of The United States, and that it will surely appear to be self-motivated if Bush and Cheney are impeached and she takes their place.

If the newly elected Democrats think for one minute that ordinary citizens such as I will sit back while the Republican thugocracy goes unpunished for stealing our votes, spitting on The Constitution, stealing the hard-earned money of American citizens struggling to survive amid the strictures of Republican tax “reform”, and other nastiness perpetrated on America by this band of criminals, then those Democrats are sadly mistaken.

“Iraq” is, indeed, a major issue, but Iraq is a manifestation of the degree of greed to which the Bush Cabal aspires—the invasion of Iraq was simply a reason for war profiteering—the blood of our children another reason for the obscenely wealthy to donate to the nearest Republican "Political Action Committee".

My vote is a demand for investigation, indictment, imprisonment and a warning to all who would ever again attempt to destroy my country that these acts will not be tolerated.

Democracy—by God—works!

Punishing those who would destroy our liberties is the only fitting end to this era and culture of corruption.

Bush And The Thugocracy

Bush seems more surprised that democracy works—despite everything his cabal has done to destroy it—than anything else. Not only that, he is woefully out of touch, or delusional, or an out-and-out liar, based on his performance in today’s post-election press conference.

Still, I cannot shake this feeling that the other shoe has yet to drop. This period of time between now and January could be the most dangerous to democracy and the state and safety of America, and it is time to focus even more than previous to the election on the doings of this group of thugs.

The sound of the overwhelming voice of a Democratic majority does not change the fact that a gang of thugs has their hands around America’s throat.
